Trend New Zealand · etherium® By E-Stone
Benchtops, full-height walls, showers and floors in one slab — with the marble look engineered into the surface, bookmatching, and fully custom imagery. Supplied to order across New Zealand.
The Material
etherium® By E-Stone is an engineered agglomerate slab produced by vibro-compression: around 93% selected granules — post-consumer recycled glass, pre-consumer recycled porcelain, glass mosaic, quartz and granite — bound with a minimal quantity of polyester resin and pigment. Designed in Italy, manufactured by E-Stone in Sebring, Florida.
The result has the look of rare quarried stone and arrives in a full-height 300 × 120 cm format at a nominal 6.6 mm thick. At roughly 14 kg/m², a full slab comes in around 50 kg — compared with 50–75 kg/m² for natural stone at 20–30 mm. That weight changes what's possible on site: slabs go directly over sound existing surfaces, up stairwells by hand, and onto walls and joinery that would never take dimension stone.
Practical where it matters, too: zero water absorption, Mohs 8 scratch hardness, no staining under ASTM D 1712 and heat resistance to 94 °C — with the depth of real glass, quartz and granite in the surface, not a printed film.
Benchtops — Trascenda®
Trascenda® infuses a high-resolution design into the etherium surface itself — classic marbles, honed concrete looks and one-off custom imagery — without changing the slab's technical behaviour. Runs of slabs can follow continuum layouts, and veining can be bookmatched across islands, waterfall ends and splashbacks so the pattern flows the way quarried stone does.

Jolly, rounded or recalibrated rounded edge profiles, with matching rounded-edge skirting.
Top-mount, flush-mounted, under-mounted and above-counter basins can all be fabricated.
Slabs can be curved to sweeps of 160 cm diameter and above — curved counters and reception desks included.
Full Slab Installations
A 300 × 120 cm slab covers a full wall height in one piece. That means shower and steam-room enclosures with almost no grout lines, bathroom walls without a tile grid, and feature walls that read as a single surface. With zero water absorption and frost resistance, etherium is genuinely at home in wet areas — and at 6.6 mm it can go straight over sound existing tiles in a renovation. On the floor it carries an R10 slip rating and high abrasion resistance, suited to residential and light-commercial traffic.

Custom — Trascenda®
Trascenda® isn't limited to the catalogue designs. Any sufficiently high-resolution image — a photograph, an artwork, a pattern of your own — can be infused into the etherium surface, mapped across a run of slabs and produced as a one-off. Each piece is unique and exclusive, and the process doesn't change the slab's technical characteristics.
A custom design or photograph, supplied at 300 dpi, 1:1 scale.
The image is mapped across numbered slabs on your dimensioned plans.
The design is infused into the etherium surface at the factory.
A feature wall that exists nowhere else.
Case Study — Bookmatched Statuario
For a custom Statuario bathroom, the veining was mirrored — bookmatched — so it flows continuously across walls, floor and shower. Every slab is mapped on the plans and cut in sequence before production, so what's approved on paper is exactly what arrives on site.

The Palette
Trend Origina® is the core terrazzo and solid-colour collection. La Veneziana reworks classic Venetian terrazzo at slab scale. Trascenda® carries the printed marble, concrete and Metamorphosis designs — plus fully custom imagery from your own artwork. A selection is shown here; full colour charts and physical samples are available on request.

Swatches are indicative only — glass, screen and print all render colour differently. Always confirm from a physical sample.

Good to know: Trascenda® printed designs are for interior use — walls, benchtops and floors up to light-commercial traffic — and are sensitive to prolonged direct UV exposure. Curved work needs a sweep of 160 cm diameter or more. Every installation runs on a specified adhesive and epoxy grout system, which we arrange per project. Slabs sit outside the pool mosaic warranty programme; specification and installation guidance is provided at quote stage.
