Custom Designs & Decors
Beyond the solid-colour ranges, Trend offers three ways to make a pool your own. Shading blends graduate the colour from deep to pale across a wall. Catalogue decors — water flowers, borders and figurative motifs — are laid into the pool floor. And fully custom designs are drawn up in CAD and assembled tessera by tessera from your artwork. Every piece is genuine glass rather than a printed panel, and all custom and decor work is made to order on an indent basis, so talk to us early about lead times.

Up To 25 Years, On Approved Jobs
Glass mosaic almost never fails as glass. It fails at the bond line — sheet backing, adhesive, substrate preparation and joint design decide whether a pool interior is still tight in year fifteen. In wet areas, exterior facades and pools under constant thermal cycling, that's where movement shows first: tiles lifting, grout cracking along the sheet lines, call-backs long after handover. Trend mosaic is supplied paper-faced or on Trend's own Plus back-mount — there's no full fibreglass mesh sheet between the glass and the adhesive.
Our answer is to warrant the system, not just the glass. Trend New Zealand approves installations carried out with our specified adhesive and setting systems, by installers we've briefed on the method — and on approved jobs that combination is covered by a manufacturer-issued installation system warranty — up to 25 years on swimming pools, and up to 15 years on other approved installations — in writing, arranged and managed by us.
Ask About Warranty CoverWe specify epoxy adhesives and grouts for every humid or submerged installation. Cement-based systems are serviceable in wet areas — epoxy simply outperforms them under permanent immersion, and the warranty terms are written against it.
Pool builders and tilers we work with are walked through Trend's setting method before the job starts — the warranty is tied to the method, not just the product.
The warranty isn't automatic. Each job is assessed and approved before work starts, and a manufacturer-issued system warranty certificate follows on completion — up to 25 years for swimming pools, up to 15 years for other installations — naming the installer, the adhesive system used, and the area covered. We coordinate the specification, registration and any claim.

Alongside the glass mosaic ranges, Trend Group produces etherium® By E-Stone: engineered agglomerate slabs in a full-height 300 × 120 cm format at just 6.6 mm and around 14 kg/m², made with up to 72% post-consumer recycled glass. Trascenda® infuses marble, concrete and fully custom designs into the surface — bookmatched benchtops, near-jointless shower walls and floors to light-commercial traffic.
Slabs are a fundamentally different product to glass mosaic and sit outside the mosaic warranty programme — they are supplied to order, with specification and installation guidance provided at quote stage.
